Policies

We’ve been doing this for over 30 years, and in that time we’ve learned a thing or two about what makes a convention great. Spoiler: it’s the people, and keeping those people safe, respected, and free to enjoy themselves. The policies below are how we make that happen. They apply to everyone at RadCon, no exceptions.

Got questions or concerns? officers@radcon.org is where the responsible adults live.

Code of Conduct

  1. Don’t be a pinhead. This covers more than you’d think, but the rules below spell out what we mean.
  2. Follow the 3-2-1 rule. Every day of the con: 3 hours of sleep minimum, 2 solid meals, 1 shower. Your fellow attendees will thank you.
  3. Respect every person in this space. Harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior toward any attendee, volunteer, vendor, or guest; regardless of race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or costume choice will not be tolerated. RadCon is for everyone.
  4. Consent is convention policy. Ask before you hug, touch, or photograph anyone. No means no, the first time, every time. Violations will result in removal from the convention and may be referred to law enforcement.
  5. See something, say something. If you experience or witness a violation of these policies, report it immediately to a RadCon officer. You can also reach us at officers@radcon.org. Reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly.
