Every year, RadCon’s Bronze Ballroom transforms into a stage for some of the most creative, skilled, and spectacular costumes you will ever see. The RadCon Masquerade is one of our most beloved traditions — a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and the pure joy of showing up as someone (or something) extraordinary. Come watch. Divisions
The Masquerade features divisions for every skill level – from first timers to seasoned competitors.
There is a place for everyone on our stage.
Youth
Our Children’s Masquerade for ages 12 and under. Must be accompanied by adult at all times.
Novice
Just getting started. First time performers. Anyone who has never won a costume contest award
Apprentice
Some experience. Has entered contests before but not yet progressed to the next division.
Journeyman
Significant experience. Two “Best of Novice” awards moves you to this division
Master
Extensive experience, several awards, or those who make their living in costume or clothing
Group
The division category is determined by the highest-ranking member of the group.
Prizes
Every participant receives a unique, one of a kind participation certificate created by the Masquerade Director and themed to that year’s RadCon convention.
Category winners receive a $30 Visa gift card.
Additional prizes are awarded by donation.
