Visiting Professionals

RadCon runs on expertise – and a lot of it comes from people just like you. Our Visiting Professionals are the writers, artists, scientists, gamers, filmmakers, cosplayers, and creators who show up every year to share what they know. Whether you’re a first-timer or an old hand, this is your community.

We’re still building out this year’s full roster. Check back as more Visiting Professionals are confirmed for RadCon 9C: Realms & Relics.

You Know Things

You know things and you want to share them, and RadCon is exactly the place to do that. Visiting Professionals who volunteer four or more hours of panels or presentations over the weekend receive a complimentary membership badge to RadCon 9C. Helpers and plus-ones are welcome at a discounted rate, just make sure to notate that in the appropriate section of your application. If you’re bringing a larger group or are a performer, please reach out to Programming directly at programming@radcon.org to make arrangements.

What We’re Looking For

RadCon 9C: Realms & Relics covers a lot of ground. We’re looking for panelists, presenters, and experts across all our tracks:

  • Worldbuilding, Writing & All Things Books — from concept to publication and all the steps in between
  • Science & History — the real-world facts and forgotten stories that inspire the fiction we love
  • Media & Gaming — screens, controllers, and whose line is it anyway? From blockbusters to cult favorites
  • Art, Music & Creation — the hands-on creative side of fandom that brings it all to life
  • Paranormal & Folklore — cryptids, legends, and the myths that refuse to stay buried
  • General Interest & Fan-Centered — if it doesn’t fit anywhere else, submit it anyway

Time to Make Your Move

Panel submissions are open until August 31st, 2026. Don’t wait — spots fill up fast.

Author Readings & Signings

Got a Book? We’ve got a Stage for That

If you’re an author and want to do a reading or participate in a signing session, there’s a separate sign-up just for you. Both run 45–50 minutes and are scheduled as group sessions to keep things running smoothly. Sign-ups are open until August 31st, 2026.
