Accessibility Statement

RadCon is for everyone. Full stop.

We’ve been building this community for over thirty years, and we know our crowd — you come in all shapes, sizes, abilities, and sensory thresholds. We want every single one of you to be able to show up, feel welcome, and have the best weekend of your February.

Our Commitment

RadCon is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive environment for all attendees, volunteers, vendors, and guests. Accessibility is not an afterthought. It is part of how we plan and run the convention.

What’s Currently Available

  • Wheelchair-accessible rooms at the Red Lion – request one when you book
  • ADA-accessible parking on site
  • Ground-floor convention spaces

New for RadCon 9C

For the first time, RadCon 9C will be working on creating sensory-friendly spaces and quiet rooms. This is our first year attempting this and we’re committed to getting it right. More details coming as we get closer to February.

What We’re Still Working On

We do not currently offer ASL interpretation for panels. We know that’s a gap and we’re not going to pretend it isn’t. We also recognize that some aspects of our venue are outside our direct control. We work within the Red Lion Hotel’s existing facilities. Your feedback helps us advocate for better and prioritize what we address next. .

Your Feedback Matters

If you encounter an accessibility barrier at RadCon, at the convention or on this website, we genuinely want to know. Accessibility feedback is always welcome at officers@radcon.org. We read every message.

This Is a Living Document

RadCon’s accessibility offerings will grow over time. This page will be updated as new accommodations are added. We are not done yet. Not even close.
