Sheila Simonson is a longtime member of the Endeavour Award Committee. She taught science fiction and fiction writing at Clark College for a number of years, and is the author of eleven published novels, four of them regency romances and seven mysteries. Her mystery, Buffalo Bill's Defunct, which is set in the Columbia Gorge, won a Willa award for original soft-cover fiction in 2009. The second in that series, An Old Chaos, is available from Perseverance Press. She and Sarah Webb are working on an s.f. novel also set in the Columbia Gorge.
