When she realized that she’d been working as an editor for nearly 20 years, Janna Silverstein decided it was time to hop the fence and try to get some of her own work published. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in Asimov’s Science Fiction, Talebones, Marion Zimmer Bradley’s Fantasy Magazine, Orson Scott Card’s Intergalactic Medicine Show and the anthology Ghosttide. Look for future stories in the anthologies Swordplay and The Trouble with Heroes. She lives in Seattle with two geriatric cats, a growing coin collection, a selection of antique porcelain hands, and many, many books. She knows just enough to be dangerous.
