THE james k burk is the party incarnation of James K Burk the writer. His newest novel, The Twelve, has received favorable attention and his previous novel Home Is The Hunter was half of Double Dog #3, from Yard Dog Press. His short stories, including "The Trailer Park Vampire meets the Bubba Yumbie," have appeared in several of the Bubbas of the Apocalypse collections.
Janet Freeman is a lifelong inhabitant of Washington State, though she occasionally strays elsewhere. Using her engineering degrees from MIT and Caltech, she worked in product development for more than two decades and produced copious corporate fiction. She now writes science articles and science fiction with occasional attempts at humor. Her personal studies focus on brain science, with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s, autism and memory. She credits cousin Mary Rosenblum for renewing her interest in publishing fiction. Her first pro short story appeared in Analog last year.
Words, words! S. A. Bolich has been chased by words since before she even really knew what they were. She won her first short-story contest in the sixth grade, and has been known to scribble on paper plates on camping trips for lack of other writing materials. After side trips into the army as an intelligence officer, corporate world as a project manager, and the classroom teaching web design, she engineered an escape to full-time freelancing a few years ago and never looked back.
Andy just completed the feature film "Naked Angel," on which he was the Producer, Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, and also appeared as an actor. This is the second feature with writer/director Christina Morales Hemenway, and Dancingstar Productions, and their 4th project together. Andy is also re-writing two feature scripts, and is producing a television pilot pitch. He is based in Los Angeles, where he also teaching classes on acting and improvisation, as he is a comedian and actor himself, as well.
Former dinner theater owner in Tacoma, Wa, I have acted, danced in, and directed musicals and other plays. I received scholarships for college in both voice and drama and took dance lessons from Jo Emery. With my husband Nat, I host "Sci-fi Jeopardy" at area cons. I have a degree in psychology, and have worked with people with developmental disabilities, at the domestic violence shelter and spent 7 years working in mental health.

He wrote and directed the fantasy-comedy cult films The Gamers and The Gamers: Dorkness Rising. His comic fantasy webseries, JourneyQuest, completed its first season on Hulu in November. Matt is a graduate of the American Film Institute in Hollywood and has an MFA in Screenwriting. He lives in Tacoma with his wife and too many cats.
